While conventional or "allopathic" medicine strives to detect and treat illness, other disciplines strive to actively promote health. Jeff Smith - Born in 1950, I've been an RN since 1985, and holistic in my approach to wellness since the late 1960's. I've worked in and studied holistic health care in the United States, England and Germany. I feel I've received so much - from God, my world and my life - that I really want to give something back. To this end I've developed Living Waters Wellness, a free holistic wellness website. I work on and think about this site every day.
Rose Smith - Born in 1954, I grew up in Germany - a country with deep, strong traditions both in science and holistic health. I've been treated by holistic doctors, when needed, all my adult life. I've worked in organizations - Camphill Villages, Waldorf Schools and anthroposophical medical practices, that value and utilize holistic approaches, and have practiced therapeutic eurythmy, a unique form of therapeutic movement, for over 30 years. |
